An annual summer event in Wilmslow.
The 2009 Wilmslow Show is on Sunday the 12th of July from 11am to 4pm.
It features a Horticultural Show with a Classic Car Show, Fun Dog Show, Funfair, Falconry, Mini Zoo, Craft Marquee, Jazz Band, and lots of childrens' attractions. It takes place on the playing fields opposite Wilmslow High School.

There are lots of farms around Wilmslow so it's also a small agricultural show.
The umbrella in the background is to keep the sun off - not the rain. And no, that's not snow on the cattle's backs.

The show's former venue was the Carnival Fields off Water Lane , but in recent years it has been held on the playing fields of Wilmslow High School. Going back even further there used to be Wilmslow Carnival, complete with a procession through the town.
It is sometimes plagued by rain, sometimes not. The 2007 show was cancelled due to the weather.
