Wilmslow - The Viaducts

Footpaths converge on the railway viaducts. There are two places on the viaduct where you can click on it to zoom in.

The mighty Bollin flows sinuously beneath the viaducts' grand arches.

A graffito on one of the arches - it is repeated on three others. John Major used to be the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

There are two parallel viaducts; the first built around 1840 for the Manchester to Crewe line, the second around 1910 for the new Styal branch line.

These are not the only viaducts in Wilmslow, so if you're a railway viaduct fan, call back soon to see some more.
